AAB GCSE Results Day

Date: 25 August 2016

20 of our students are today receiving their GCSE results. Alhamdulillah the results of 70% A*-C (including English and maths) surpasses the results of last year. I pray to Allah that this upward trend continues and I am confident that this will be the case as our new approaches and practices to teaching and learning begin to embed and bear fruit.

Crucially, we have improved in both our core subjects, English and Maths. Further Maths, the Sciences, History and Islamic Studies as well as Arabic have all reflected high levels of attainment.

English Literature (90%)
English Language (85%)
Maths (80%)
Further Maths (100%)
Biology (75%)
Physics (70%)
Chemistry (75%)
History (84%)
Islamic Studies (90%)
Arabic (91%)
French ( 61%)

These good results are a testament to the incredible hard work and dedication of the students, staff, parents and trustees. I am so proud of everyone for what they have achieved; they thoroughly deserve this.

These results are the platform for our students to continue their educational careers in college and sixth form. These high achieving students have a wealth of talent and proven academic ability. Added to this is their amazing attitude to the values of Islam. They have developed, and will continue to develop, their Islamic personality and sense of morality as they continue into higher and further education. Ameen
